"Doctor Sparkles is the Cosmic Cabaret Wise Guy who makes Light of Self and alter-ego of Kevin Patrick Baiko, a metaphysical folk artist turned ukulele enthusiast. Developed in 2006 as an enigmatic stage name for his ukulele songs, the personality of Doctor Sparkles soon developed a cult following on MySpace, especially amongst experimental artists, psychonauts and a surprising uke subculture. His MySpace profile songs have received over 80,000 plays and his website consistently averages over 1,000 hits daily. In the 2006 Just Plain Folks Music Awards Sail Away was voted 2nd runner-up for “Best Cabaret Album”, with its title track winning the “Best Cabaret Song”. On stage Dr. Sparkles is a cross between Cab Calloway and David Bowie. Before relocating back to San Francisco to better develop his musical career, he performed both solo and as a trio named “Doctor Sparkles and the Mystic Nomads”, being listed by Portfolio Magazine as one of the top 50 live acts of Hampton Roads (VA). He currently hosts a monthly ukulele cabaret called the “Jumping Flea Circus” which showcases the Bay Area's ukulele scene."

"Many of the great social and political changes of the last century were achieved NOT because the government suddenly felt a moral obligation to be fair, or felt a civic obligation to adhere to the true intentions of the framers of the Constitution. No, many of the great social and political changes came about because the government was scared - they felt pressure - real, scary pressure. Labor laws, women voting, civil rights legislation, the end of the Vietnam war - all were reactions to civil disobedience: strikes, protests, sit-ins, even riots. If you want to get something great accomplished in this country, you can’t wait on the government to have a moral moment of clarity - that ain’t going to happen. You have to apply pressure. This country is presently in an unjustified war (if you still think the Iraq war wasn’t about oil and money, then you’re either ignorant, or fooling yourself). Public opinion is greatly against the war - and yet this Republican administration keeps the war wheels churning along - why do they ignore the will of the people? The Democrats elected to stop the war are ignoring those who elected them. Why don’t they do what they said they were going to do? This country is on the brink of financial catastrophe, and there is no solution in sight. Why are they going to let this happen to us? Because...the will of the people means nothing to the government. The well-being of the working class means nothing to the government. What matters to them is self-preservation, keeping their power, and keeping their wealth. For how long have our political candidates talked about "change" - in education, in health care, taxes, the list goes on....and yet the only changes that happen are for the worst. Meanwhile, the working class waits...for what? The federal government is like an auto maker who won’t recall a dangerous car until they are faced with the possibility of a debilitating lawsuit - ethics never enters the equation. Well, my friends, change ain’t coming unless we MAKE it happen. And the people who are going to make it happen have finally arrived... in fact, they’ve been here the whole time. It’s you. And me. It’s all of us. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for."

Dead-Lift

Official Website
"Straight out of Schenectady, New York, Dead-Lift has been rocking hard since 2003 and has no plans to stop the invasion of proving pop music to be bullshit. The band follows no genre; they play tunes that come from the heart. Every song the band writes follows a different path of influences which really makes for an incredible mix of Metal, Hard rock, Fusion, and whatever else you could try to classify Dead-Lift. They have opened shows for such bands as Korn, Deftones, Stone Sour, Flyleaf, Powerman 5000, Hed PE, 10 Years, Bullets & Octane, Bury Your Dead, Twiztid, Blaze ya Dead Homie, Gizmachi, Madball, Sworn Enemy, 40 Below Summer, 12 Stones, Prong, and many more. Dead-Lift won Channel 103.1's Most Original Band Contest in 2006 and earned an opening slot on the Family Values Tour with Headliners Korn and Deftones. With the mix of incredible song writing, an off the hook stage show, and the desire to take the band to the next level, the band has been offered numerous record contracts which the band quickly declined once reading in between the lines. The band is in search of a good label to represent their music and help spread their message to the masses."

Lydia Loveless

Much like veal, Lydia Loveless was farm raised and kept in the dark for quite some time. Also like veal you may not wish to know how old she is because it gives you a slight twinge of guilt. It's been said her main goal in life is to do everything and offend everyone while doing so, but really it's by chance she accomplishes her goals by being talented, attractive and, well, better than you. She has been called the Eminem of country, the girl you didn't like at first but were impressed by eventually and the girl who kind of looks like Reba McEntire. All of these titles are highly offensive but sadly true. Whatever you want to call her, her songs are probably stuck in your head and you probably are in love with her. I mean, who can resist? So please, buy her cd. She needs to get out of this city.

"I feel that most of my songs are about different forms of liberty, but here is an excerpt from "Equilibrium" off of my new album "Aubade" to be released this October: "I don't need someone to tell me how to do what I do with myself; hiding behind a suit and force feeding every fool with their philanthropical spoon. I'm the best judge of my heart, a pick-pocket politician only tears it in two. I know you've always known that to be true, but you're all grown up now aren't you? It's either left or right; blue or red. I'm out of my head, they seem like the same thing.""

Dr. Jay & Miss Diana

Official Website
"An Austin American Statesman music writer pigeonholed their music, "American Roots. American as apple pie at its fruits. Blues, Country and Rock at its Roots . . . a show you need to experience." Miss Diana met Dr. Jay at a music store in Memphis – they were married three weeks later. She was sixteen at the time. He was at the most ten years older. An image momentarily frozen in time pictures Dr. Jay beaming, a judge staring wide-eyed into space and Miss Diana looking a little bit concerned. That was a few years ago (2 spent in Europe), about 300 original songs, at least 1000 club dates and somewhere around 3062 mornings of Miss Diana sitting across a breakfast table watching Dr. Jay eat corn flakes, smoke a hand-rolled cigarette and smile at her pretty face - there’s usually a bead of milk dripping down his chin. We feel that there's something really wrong with this country. And something needs to be done to correct it, now!"

"Born in Baltimore, Md. Mason was playing in area clubs at age 12 with his step father, Peabody graduate Jerry Burns. Mason moved to Sarasota Fla in the late 70's and ended up working with some of the major talent in that region. In the mid eighties Mason was in a heavy metal band called "Armed Force" who won first place out of over 100 local bay area bands in the the 1985 Tampa bay battle of the bands. Mason later met Chris Anderson of the OUTLAWS fame and formed Chris Anderson and The Collision, where they opened up for major acts such as 38 Special and The Guess Who. By the early 90's Mason had relocated to Nashville Tn where he continues writing and playing with the likes of Chris Anderson (The Outlaws) Johnny Neel (Allman brothers) Richard Aspinwal (Garth Brooks) Jeff Coffin (Bella Fleck) Mason met Doug Jones through Johnny Neel in Nashville and the two partnered up with Mason.Jones Publishing writing hundreds of songs together. One of their songs called "More than you'll ever know" is currently being released by Charles Walker, a popular R & B artist in Europe this year. Other artists featured on Mason's music are David Northrup, drummer and band leader for Travis Tritt... Randy Coleman, well respected session bassist for Johnny Neel among others and band leader for The Patsy Cline story at the Ryman... Rickey and Ronnie Godfrey who are both amazing singer song writers from Nashville. Mason is still living and writing in Nashville and will be producing a new CD by next fall. In April of 2007 Mason and Chris Anderson began collaborating on a new song called "Trail of Tears" for The Outlaws newest CD release "Once an Outlaw". What began as more of a play on words morphed into a work that has been called " The greatest new topical song since Roger McGuinn's Back From Rio in 1990", "Trail of Tears tells a story without seeing pictures.. it's just one of those songs, and they're very rare these days". It went from a song of love gone bad, to the true story of how our government raped and pillaged the Cherokee people, stealing their sacred land and systematically driving them from their homes at gun point some 3,000 miles across country, many never surviving the journey. Mason remembers how the approach to writing those lyrics where so much more different than any song he'd ever written. Mason recalls, "We had to study the history in depth first, so we could grasp the story that made up one of the darkest chapters in American history". Trail of Tears is being hailed as An Outlaws instant classic, and can be heard here at www.OutlawsWorld.com or on youtube under Outlaws trail of tears. The song writing team of Mason Anderson also just recorded the remake of the great Lennon protest song, "Give Peace a Chance" and made it a rally cry for Presidential Peace candidate Dr. Ron Paul with the new chorus, "All we are saying, Vote Ron Paul for Peace" Mason is please that so far the song has been extremely well received and thanks our executive producer, Clay for his support, and "Bands for Ron Paul". A compilation CD is in the works for this cause to help raise awareness of Dr. Paul and promote the movement. Special thanks to John and Yoko for their blessings on this recording, and to Aaron Russo and all of those out there working hard to WAKE US UP!!! PEACE CHECK OUT THE LP EASY TO PLEASE AND NOW YOU CAN BUY A MP3 OF "ALWAYS I DO" A SONG I WROTE FOR MY KIDS WHO'S VINDICTIVE MOM REFUSES TO LET ME EVEN SPEAK TO THEM ON THE PHONE AND SUPPORTED BY THE NOT SO FAMILY FAMILY COURTS. ""Government Is The Problem" is a hard rock political anthem meant to inspire thought and is a warning from a past president about the problems of big government. Vocals performed by Ronald Reagan during his 1981 innaugural address speech. "The Senoritas Know" is a latin influenced salsa dance number. "Guitar Symphony" is a very powerful and inspirational, melodic, acoustical, instrumental reminiscent of the classical guitar. "Midnight Masquerade" is the sequel to "Guitar Symphony" and is another powerful acoustic anthem."
